Fraport receives listing in Sustainability Yearbook for seventh consecutive year
For example, in 2013 Fraport moved forward with its climate reporting as well as an accounting-based control and reporting system for energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Regular reporting of the relevant data allows Fraport to monitor whether its strategic CO2-goals are being met. Undesirable developments can be detected in advance. Simultaneously, this reporting instrument enables areas of high energy consumption to be identified and allows energy-related and cost-reducing measures to be initiated.
Fraport AG`s sustainability management activities have also been positively valued in other leading sustainability ratings. In December 2013, Fraport was added to the Ethibel Excellence Investment Register by Forum Ethibel, in cooperation with the rating agency Vigeo. This ranking shows that Fraport has above-average performance for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) compared to other companies in its industry sector.
Furthermore, Fraport`s listings were also confirmed in 2013 for a wide range of leading sustainability indexes such as the DJSI World Index, DJSI Europe Index, FTSE4Good Index, STOXX Global ESG Leaders Index, as well as the Climate Leadership Index (DACH CDLI). Oekom Research awarded Fraport AG its “Oekom Prime Status” rating.
