Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands receive great publicity in Germany

Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands receive great publicity in Germany (Forimmediaterelease.net) Reise Preise, the German magazine that guides holiday makers, has recognized the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands and helped the visibility of these islands.

The Indian Ocean Report (Special Indischer Ozean) that has appeared in the magazine raises the profile of the Vanilla Islands as the newest tourism region. “It is seen as very good publicity for our Vanilla Islands community as they have 700,000 readers out of which 95% are vacationers," said Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, who is also the President of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands.

Comoros, La Reunion, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius, Mayotte, and the Seychelles are the group of islands in the Indian Ocean who have been working together to put the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands on the world map as the new tourism destination. Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, is currently the President of this regional organization and is on his second mandate as the head of the organization. Pascal Viroleau of La Reunion is the CEO of the organization.

The Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands was earlier recognized by Mr. Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and he has since helped the Vanilla Islands by organizing a press conference which he co-chaired with Minister St.Ange during WTM 2013 (World Travel Market) in London.

The Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands are all receiving increased visitor arrival numbers from Germany. This Special Indian Ocean Report in the Reise Preise will further assist the visibility of the islands of the Indian Ocean as a tourism region.
