Tender for bulk supply of petroleum products launched by Seychelles ( SEYPEC, the Seychelles Petroleum Company, is going out on an international tender, inviting entities to bid for the supply of bulk petroleum products to Seychelles for a three-year period between 2014-2016.

Mr. Conrad Benoiton, the CEO of the company, has confirmed to the press that he wishes the invitation to tender to reach the widest audience possible. The approach by a state-controlled company to enter into a transparent tender process is in itself a commendable approach.

The Seychelles Petroleum Company Ltd. (SEYPEC) invites suitable and/or interested entities/parties to tender for the bulk supply of the following petroleum products to Port Victoria, Seychelles, for the period February 1, 2014 to December 31, 2016 as per below:

PRODUCTS; Annual Quantity in Metric Tons (+/-10% at buyer’s option – subject to six monthly review); Number of Deliveries per year

Gasoil 0.05%; 48,000; 12
Gasoil 0.5%; 170,000; 12
Fuel Oil 180cst; 90,000; 12
Fuel Oil 380cst; 3,000; 1
Unleaded Motor Gasoline; 18,000; 12
Jet A1; 30,000; 12

TOTAL: 359,000

The supplier to be awarded the contract is obliged to supply all of the products mentioned above and only one supplier is to be identified for the contract.

Interested parties should email href=""> for the relevant documents covering the commercial and technical requirements for the supply, and these shall be provided upon payment of the applicable and non-refundable fee of US$5,000.
