Last Chance to see the Eye at Sea World!

Last Chance to see the Eye at Sea World! ( Sea World’s impressive 60m high giant observation wheel is set to leave the Gold Coast at the end of January 2008 when the temporary lease expires.

Guests to Sea World during December and January will have a final opportunity to see the Eye before it closes following the Australia Day long weekend.

Warner Village Theme Parks Chief Operating Officer, Steve Peet said that since its arrival in November 2006, the Eye had been enjoyed by over 680,000 Sea World guests – who enjoyed taking in the spectacular views of the Gold Coast’s Broadwater and Hinterland.

While there are similar wheels around the world, in London, Seville and Niagara Falls, the Eye’s arrival at Sea World was the first time the attraction has appeared in Australia.

The R60 model erected at Sea World is manufactured by Swiss company, Ronald Bussink Professional Rides and is the largest transportable observation wheel in the world.

To mark the departure of the Eye, Sea World Resort is also offering a limited number of dinner packages to experience the Eye by night for the last time.

Diners will enjoy an evening view from the Eye along with a succulent seafood buffet at Sea World Resort on Friday 4, 11, 18 and 25 January and Saturday 5, 12, 19 and 26 January. Bookings are essential. To book call Sea World Resort on 5591 0044.
