Air Madagascar becomes first joint partner of Vanilla Islands Organization

Air Madagascar becomes first joint partner of Vanilla Islands Organization (Forimmediaterelease.net) The Vanilla Islands Organization (VIO) of the Indian Ocean made a significant step forward with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Air Madagascar in the wake of the organization's Ministerial summit meeting held on September10 on the Island of La Reunion.

The MOU, which strengthens and opens up the air connectivity between the member island states, was signed by the Seychelles Minister Alain St.Ange, the sitting President of VIO; and the Air Madagascar CEO Hughes Ratsiferana.

This significant development paves the way for one of the Vanilla Islands Organization’s key objectives and main marketing strategies of opening up the Indian Ocean region to the world by increasing air access and better links between the member states. This is crucial to the development of twin- and multi-center holidays.

It is expected that more regional airlines such as Air Austral, Air Mauritius, and Air Seychelles will be joining the Vanilla Islands Organization in this partnership to further its aims and raison d’etre and increase exposure of the region in win-win cooperations. The President of the Vanilla Islands said that airlines providing air links to the region were also invited to also be part of this drive in the latest tourism destination and to be part of the spirit of courage and imagination driving the Vanilla Islands group.
