Seychelles Minister welcomed in La Reunion by president of the Region

Seychelles Minister welcomed in La Reunion by president of the Region (Forimmediaterelease.net) Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture was greeted ont his arrival at Roland Garros International Airport in La Reunion by Mr Didier Robert, the President of of the region La Reunion.

The Seychelles Minister is in La Reunion for the Vanilla Islands Ministerial Meeting and for the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) meeting on Sustainable Tourism.

Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles is the sitting President of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands Regional Organisation and will be chairing the Ministerial Gathering of the Indian Ocean Islands. At the end of this Ministerial meeting which is set to see the Maldives Minister take his seat formally as a member of the Vanilla Islands. Minister St.Ange, in his capacity as the President of the Vanilla Islands, will be holding a Press Conference alongside Mr Taleb Rifai, the Secretary General of the UNWTO and President Didier Robert of La Reunion. They are also expected to be on in the news studio of Antenne Reunion during the week

Mr Taleb Rifai, the Secretary General of the UNWTO is in La Reunion Island to chair the gathering of Ministers on Sustainable Tourism in Small Island States. It is to be noted that Seychelles fully supported the bid for La Reunion to host this important gathering of the UNWTO Small Island States.

The director of Ile Reunion Tourisme (IRT) was also at the airport to welcome Minister St.Ange.
