Seychelles Festival Kreol 2013 campaign sees Minister personally take to the airwaves (Forimmediaterelease.net) Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, accompanied by Ms. Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture, were both guests of Nathalie Rose on her popular Lanbyans Labrin Radio Program on SBC Radio.

The Seychelles Minister had but days earlier launched the Festival Kreol's 2013 publicity poster at a meeting with the press when he gave the main events of the festival.

On the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation’s (SBC) live radio program, Minister St.Ange and PS Rose spoke about the highlights of the coming festival when the world of Creoles descend on Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles, coined many years ago as the Creole Capital of the World. “Anyone who believes in his Creole connection, or who is proud to be counted as a Creole must be seen in Victoria from the 25th October for the Opening Ceremony of the Festival Kreol 2013," Minister St.Ange said on the radio.

The Minister and his PS also took the radio listeners to a first feel of the coming festival dedicated to the Creole people of the world. The highlight will be a serenade in the streets of Victoria where the groups from district communities will be joined by delegations from the different islands flying to Seychelles for this 28th edition of their Festival Kreol. Youth movements and workers from different organizations will dance through the streets of Victoria to the beat of Creole music. The organizers are hoping to see the biggest serenade march ever in Victoria for this Festival Kreol.

A number of press personalities have also already confirmed their arrival in Seychelles for this year’s Festival Kreol. The interest for the press remains the participation of different Creole-speaking countries. “The togetherness of Creole countries will be evident, but the diversity in our Creole language, culture, food, and people will be showcased. This will continue to be of interest to the Community of Nations and to the press community," Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles said.

The Festival Kreol 2013 will be taking place from October 25, 2013 in Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles, and the capital of the world of Creoles.
