MPI Launches Inaugural Issue of The Meeting Professional European Digest ( The Only Pan-European Magazine for the Meetings and Events Industry

MPI (Meeting Professionals International) launched at EIBTM today The Meeting Professional European Digest, the organization’s latest communication channel for the meetings and events industry.

The Meeting Professional European Digest will be published quarterly, starting from this November, as a complement to MPI’s core magazine, The Meeting Professional (TMP), which reaches more than 30,000 global readers each month. The TMP European Digest is the only pan-European publication for the meetings and events industry and will provide MPI European members with a publication that specifically addresses their professional growth and development needs.

“This is an exciting opportunity to produce a product with compelling educational relevance for the entire European meeting and event industry community,” said Joyce Dogniez, CMM, MPI Director of Operations EMEA. “Developed in collaboration with our European members, we found that our European members want a publication that has content, tone, advertising and design that is personally relevant to them - we took these elements and co-created a truly European product.”

The TMP European Digest owes its name to the fact that the publication will include the best and most relevant articles from the core magazine (TMP) as well as information from MPI European chapters. With approximately 60 pages, the publication will be released quarterly to coincide with MPI’s Professional Education Conference-North America, The European Meetings and Events Conference, World Education Congress and an autumn issue.

Didier Scaillet – MPI Vice-President of Global Development comments “In a quickly evolving and rapidly globalizing economy, it is crucial for meeting professionals to be aware of the key changes taking place. The world is now a global marketplace offering them increased opportunities but also a fiercer competitive environment. With this new product in Europe, MPI demonstrates its commitment to provide each of its community members with the global connections and resources to ensure their success in the 21st century”.

The online version of the publication will be available at
