Qantas Flight to stop in Seychelles this coming October as part of their world tour (Forimmediaterelease.net) Seychelles, 23 JUL 2013 (FIR) Gaetan Barallon, the Seychelles Consul General in Melbourne Austrtalia has confirmed that Qantas has finalised Phil Asker’s Captain’s Club trip to Seychelles, from Tanzania. The date for the Australian Big Bird to land in Seychelles has been finalised to be in Seychelles 29-31 October inc.. It is believed that the Qantas will be using a 747 plane for this trip.

Mr Barallon organised a dinner with Phil Asker at the JJ’s Crown during the President James Michel's State Visit of Australia two years ago. Jean Paul Adam, the Seychelles Minister for Foreign Affairs and Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, were both at the dinner function at the JJ's Crown. Minister Alain St.Ange who is personally well known by Phil Asker, welcomed the proposal to have Seychelles as part of the Phil Asker's Captain's Club Qantas flight world tour 2013. “I have known Phil Asker since his first world tour trip, and I was part of those who worked with him when he stopped in Seychelles in the 1990s with his Qantas flight. We have often met at different tourism trade fairs and discussed the inclusion of Seychelles on future Captain's Club world tours, and today we are happy that the Captain's Club Qantas flight will be making a two night stop in Seychelles in October" Minister Alain St.Ange said.


The planned Phil Asker's Captain's Club Qantas program for the Seychelles stop stands as follows:-

Day 17: Tuesday 29 October, Mahe (Seychelles)
