Workshops holiday at Le Comptoir Melissa on Reunion Island (Forimmediaterelease.net) From July 18 to August 10, 2013, Le Comptoir Melissa provides tours, workshops and snacks for visitors on vacation - a colorful program that appeals to the five senses.

Le Comptoir Melissa offers a program for the austral winter holiday, which runs from Thursday, July 18 to Saturday, August 10.

All senses will be through programming Le Comptoir Melissa: touch and smell at the floral shop, sight and hearing when visiting the orchard and finally taste of the snacks from the workshop kitchen.

"Flowers and Fruit Plantation Melissa"
Monday to Saturday, 2 pm

What to see in July and August on the farm?
Side flowers, Alpinia and porcelain rose are always waiting for you, and fruit side, this is the season of sapodilla plums, black sapota and “évi,” a kind of plum.
See also: cocoas, Victoria pineapples, bananas, not to mention the flowering of lychee!

"In the footsteps of Joseph Hubert"
Thursday to Saturday, 10 am
In the middle of litchi orchard operations, discover the history of many fruit trees and spice trees of Reunion Island varieties, through Joseph Hubert, the first botanist on Reunion Island, a visionary of modern agriculture. He was responsible for the acclimatization of clove, nutmeg, the mangosteen and the development of many cultures.
Duration of Visit - 1:30

"Gourmet Snack"
Monday to Saturday, 4 pm
At snack time, a meeting is organized around a buffet of fresh fruit produced on the farm, with fresh fruit juice and slices of homemade jams.
Friendliness and goodness are guaranteed around this break - a 100% natural mood enhancer, which also allows for an exchange of experiences between local and foreign visitors, or between children and adults.

Every Thursday: Creative floral shop

Thursday, July 18 - tropical garden from 10 am to 12 pm
Thursday, July 25 - flowers cage from 10 am to 12 pm
Thursday, August 1 - gleaning and composition from 9 am to 12 pm
Thursday, August 1 - Exotic cart from 10 am to 12 pm

Saturday August 3: cooking workshop

On the menu: black sapote, coconut, pineapple
• Pina colada Pei
• Swordfish Tahitian marinated in coconut milk and lime
• Chicken curry, lemon rice kaffir lime, pineapple chutney
• Fudge and crunchy coconut and black sapote Entremet

All workshops are open to everyone, beginners or experts, teenagers from 13 years old. At the end of the workshop, participants leave with their creation of floral art or a basket of fruit on the farm for the cooking workshop.
