Constance Lemuria Seychelles reinforces partnership with stakeholders during its annual meeting for the ISO 22 000 certification validation (Forimmediaterelease.net) The Constance Lemuria Seychelles Management team organized last Thursday its annual stakeholders meeting to reinforce its partnership with the trade and to showcase its achievement to date regarding its ISO 22 000 certification.

The participants were members from the private and public sectors (suppliers and destination management companies) and that included the attendance of Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism&Culture; Masons Travel; Creole Travel Services; 7 Degrees South; Global Supplies; and Sea Harvest to name but a few.

The meeting was aimed at highlighting the hotel’s achievement to date regarding ISO 22 00. It was also an occasion to thank the trade partners for their valuable support and to plan the way forward for the next year’s action plans.

The Constance Lemuria Seychelles is the only hotel in the country which has implemented the IS0 22 00 standards, which is a food safety management system aimed at maintaining a high level of hygiene in the kitchen and food handlers’ areas.

Addressing the hotel's management and staff and trade partners present, Minister Alain St.Ange congratulated Constance Lemuria Seychelles for working to maintain their ISO 22 000 certification. “The standards you have to meet to maintain this certification is seen by the government as a plus for the country. Over and above your effort can be applauded because drive to remain ahead and to comply with international norms is part of what can be called self-regulation. We take this opportunity to encourage more properties to go down the path of self-regulation and in so doing keep our tourism industry ahead of others," Minister Alain St.Ange said.
