Miss Seychelles beauty pageant contestants visit Curieuse and Vallee de Mai Reserves

Miss Seychelles beauty pageant contestants visit Curieuse and Vallee de Mai Reserves (Forimmediaterelease.net) With preparations for the election of Miss Seychelles 2013 in full swing, the contestants are already well into their comprehensive training program. The Seychelles beauty pageant is due to take place at the Eden Plaza on May 25, 2013.

On the weekend of March 22-24, 2013, the young contestants for the 2013 crown visited the island of Curieuse and the Vallee de Mai on Praslin, respectively. Both of these protected reserves of the Seychelles are unique tourism attractions of these mid-ocean islands.

The beauty contestants were able to embrace the trip as an opportunity to enhance their awareness of the Seychelles’ unique natural heritage. The atmosphere between the beauty contestants during those 3 days was positive and full of enthusiasm. The young ladies participated fully and really seized this opportunity, especially those who were visiting Curieuse island for the first time.

They received detailed information when walking the nature trail with Mr. Cedras, who is the Manager of the Seychelles National Park Authority, for the inner islands. This information will be beneficial to the future beauty queen of the Seychelles when she will be competing in the Miss World 2013 pageant due to be held in Indonesia.

The breathtaking views at both locations were ideal for photo-shooting opportunities, and that was certainly captured by the lenses of the cameramen accompanying the contestants. The trip to the nature reserve of Curieuse island was made possible by Creole Travel Services. This local Destination Management Company (DMC) placed the fine-looking and spacious “Oplezir” Catamaran for the day trip from Praslin to Curieuse island for the group of beauty queens.

“Waking up early to get the best shot was demanding, but with the will to do so and with the full participation of everyone, at the end of the weekend, both groomers and contestants were happy to have made it through,” said a photographer who accompanied the group competing to be “Miss Seychelles… Another World” 2013.
