Updated version the Seychelles book, A Bird’s eye view, by Claude Pavard is released ( A new updated version of Seychelles “A Bird’s eye view” is out on the market.

Claude Pavard’s best seller published in 1999 in French and translated one year later in English followed by its Russian, German, Italian, and Spanish versions has gone through a process of relook.

The front cover picture of Farquar Island is replaced by that of a bird’s eye view of Anse Georgette and the Lemuria Golf course on Praslin. Presenting his book, Claude Pavard said that “25% of the book is updated with new photos.” Another interesting component of the book is the upgraded printing quality.

Claude Pavard this week presented a copy of the new updated version of “A Bird’s eye view” to the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism&Culture, Mr. Alain St.Ange, at his offices at the National Cultural Centre in Victoria.

Going through the pages, Minister St.Ange said that “he finds this new version appealing, and it will surely contribute positively to the promotion of Seychelles.”

The updated English version of “A Bird’s eye view” is already in circulation. The French and Russian version will soon appear on the market, and the German and Italian updated version of “A Bird’s eye view” will be completed in six months’ time, and they are available in book shops in Victoria such as Antigone.
