Seychelles Minister invited guest live on news desk on Antenne Reunion in La Reunion

Seychelles Minister invited guest live on news desk on Antenne Reunion in La Reunion (Forimmediaterelease.net) Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, was the guest of Antenne Reunion Television on their News Plateau to talk about the Indian Ocean Vanilla islands following the 2012 Tourism Ministers’ Summit this week. Minister St.Ange was being interviewed by Laurence Francoise, one of La Reunion’s most known and respected news presenters.

During the prime 7pm news, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture was questioned about the proposed developments following the Indian Ocean Commission (COI) Tourism Ministers’ Summit that took place in La Reunion. “We are moving forward. This is the first ever Indian Ocean Commission Tourism Minister’s Summit. We have accepted through that political body to move the tourism marketing of our islands forward. This is great news for our region, for our respective islands, and for the people of our islands,” Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles said live on air.

The 7pm news of Antenne Reunion remains one of the most-watched news hour programs, and the Seychelles Minister was thankful to Mr. Eric Fontaine of Antenne Reunion to have invited him to be the guest live on their news hour program.

“We had a message to deliver and we did just that. As President of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands Regional Organization, we have now appointed our Executive Director and need to change gears in our visibility campaign for our regional organization. Being interviewed live on this news hour program helped get us seen and more known. This line of action will now be further intensified as we plan our marketing strategy ahead of the next major tourism trade fairs,” Minister Alain St.Ange said.

During his interview, the Seychelles Minister, who is also the President of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands, said that the tourism industry remains very important for every single island of the Indian Ocean, and he went on to explain that it was only a successful and buoyant tourism industry that could put money back into the pockets of the people of each and every island of the Indian Ocean region.
