Seychelles at the 3rd ACP Ministers of Culture meeting in Brussels

Seychelles at the 3rd ACP Ministers of Culture meeting in Brussels ( Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism & Culture, is in Brussels for the 3rd ACP Ministers of Culture Meeting, which will take place from October 13-18. Minister St.Ange is at the head of a delegation comprised of the Seychelles Ambassador to Belgium, Ambassador Vivianne Fock Tave; Principle Secretary for Culture, Ms. Benjamine Rose; and the Minister’s Special Advisor for Culture, Mrs. Raymonde Onezime.

The Opening Ceremony of 2012 ACP Ministers Meeting will see Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas, the ACP Secretary General, deliver his address. He will be followed by Minister Jose Antonio Rodriguez, the Minister of Culture of the Dominican Republic, the Chair of the Meeting of Culture held in Santo Domingo.

This is the first ACP Ministers of Culture Meeting being attended by Minister St.Ange since his March appointment to the office of Minister.

When in Brussels, Minister Alain St.Ange and his delegation are also programmed to visit the “Ecole Hoteliere Provinciale de Namur,” accompanied by Ambassador Vivienne Fock Tave and Mr. Philippe De Baets, the Seychelles Honorary Consul General in Brussels. The Minister is expected to look at possibilities of cooperation between the Belgium Hotel School and the Seychelles Tourism Academy. Minister Philippe Monfils, the Belgium Minister of State, will be joining Minister St.Ange on this visit to the Namur Hotel School.
