Massive Growth in Online Travel Sets the Stage for WTM Travelmole Technology Awards ( For the third year running World Travel Market is hosting the Travel Technology Awards with TravelMole, highlighting the digital developments that have created the most impact in the industry over the past year. The awards provide an interesting yardstick of the latest and greatest in the fast growing sector of online travel, as redefined categories reflect this year’s developments.

The 2007 Travel Technology Awards were inaugurated three years ago to recognise excellence in innovation, service and performance across the many sectors of the travel and tourism industry which are dependent upon technology companies.

World Travel Market and TravelMole are holding a drinks reception for the presentation of the Technology and Online Travel Awards on Wednesday 14th November from 16.30 - 18.00 in North Gallery Room 8. The awards include:

• Best Web Integration of hotel/ airline content on 3rd party site
• Innovation in Mobile Technology
• Web-based Self-booking Tools for consumers
• Most innovative Online Sales/marketing campaign

• Best Exhibition Stand and pre-show campaign within WTM’s Technology and Online Travel sector.

Nominations will close on 5th November 2007 with award winners announced at the Awards presentation reception on Wednesday, 14th November 2007, from 16.30 - 18.00 in North Gallery Room 8 at WTM.
