“Few destinations are more idyllic than Seychelles” Joanna Booth writes in Travel Weekly Magazine of the UK (Forimmediaterelease.net) She Sells Seychelles is the title of the pages in the Travel Weekly Magazine by Joanna Booth, the known and respected travel journalist from the UK.

Under the section of Destinations: India&the Indian Ocean, Joanna Booth writes: “a smattering of island jewels set in an azure sea – there are few destinations more idyllic than Seychelles.”

“The UK remains one of the main markets for the Seychelles tourism industry, and the islands remain well known in the UK because of historical ties.” This statement is aired often by Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture.

Seychelles gained its independence from Great Britain only in 1976. A previous colony who remains in the Commonwealth of Nations and a tourism destination appreciated not only by members of the Royal Family, but also by holidaymakers from Great Britain.

It must be noted that Prince William and Kate Middleton chose the Seychelles for their much-publicized honeymoon.

Seychelles is known for its clean white sandy beaches and for its clean and clear turquoise blue seas. They have a weather pattern that has given to these mid-ocean islands the name of “islands with perpetual summer” as they sit but 4 degrees south of the equator and as such do not have winter months. “Swimming is year-round in Seychelles,” the local tourism authorities say.
