Air Seychelles management restructure complete (Forimmediaterelease.net) Air Seychelles has completed a management restructure, which will see the carrier strengthen its operational capabilities. The new management comprises the following five key roles, reporting directly to Air Seychelles Chief Executive Officer, Cramer Ball:

- Chief Financial Officer, Shelley Cole
- General Manager Operations, Captain Peter Mitchell
- General Manager Corporate Affairs, Alan Renaud
- General Manager Commercial, Robin Middleton
- General Manager Human Resources, Peter Carrie-Wilson

CFO Shelley Cole, who was seconded from Etihad Airways in January, has taken on financial accounting, management reporting, procurement, treasury, property/facilities, and information technology.

Peter Mitchell joins from Etihad Airways, where he most recently served as Vice President Training and Standards. As of May 10, his role as General Manager Operations includes management of technical operations, flight operations, and ground services for Air Seychelles.

Alan Renaud, now General Manager Corporate Affairs, has been with Air Seychelles for 9 years, previously serving as Head of Corporate Planning. His new role sees his scope of work expanded to include management of corporate communications, public relations, government affairs, and business performance.

Robin Middleton, General Manager Commercial, has been seconded from Etihad Airways, where he serves as Manager Alliances - Australia. Effective May 28, he will oversee sales, e-commerce, retail, marketing, cargo, revenue management, and guest experience.

Peter Carrie-Wilson, formerly Executive Vice President Human Resources for Etihad Airways, stepped into the role of Air Seychelles’ General Manager Human Resources on May 14. Working closely with the management team, he will manage the full range of HR services for Air Seychelles including HR systems and administration, performance management, learning and development, and compensation and benefits.

Three departments will report directly to the CEO: Quality&Safety, Legal, and Security.

Mr. Ball said: “We have to work smarter to operate as one cohesive organization and become a high-quality, profitable airline. This revitalized management team will ensure that we run as efficiently as possible and, with their combined skills and experience, I am confident that we can look forward to a much brighter future for Air Seychelles.”

In January, Etihad Airways acquired a 40 percent stake in Air Seychelles, and the two airlines now operate 8 return services a week between Abu Dhabi and the Indian Ocean archipelago – 4 by Air Seychelles and 4 by Etihad Airways.
