Emirates Roadshow Draws Alberta's Travel Agents

Emirates Roadshow Draws Alberta's Travel Agents (Forimmediaterelease.net) In preparation for its anticipated arrival in Canada, Emirates Airline hosted a roadshow event to introduce its award winning products and services to Alberta’s travel and cargo agents. The event was held at Calgary’s Roundup Centre earlier this week.

Starting 29th October the non-stop service between Dubai and Toronto will operate three times a week.

“Not only do we anticipate that western Canada will take advantage of Dubai as a convenient gateway to Africa, the Far East and the regional Middle East, we expect that the route will also serve business travellers, particularly from Calgary and Alberta,” said Nigel Page, Emirates Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, The Americas. “In addition, we expect to see more leisure travellers from our global network using the service for their vacations plans in Canada’s West.”

The roadshow featured a multi-media presentation about Dubai and Emirates and a viewing gallery where guests have an opportunity to view a model of the Emirates’ world renowned Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa.
