Mason's Travel from Seychelles remains the unbeatable local carnival float at the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands Carnival in Seychelles ( For the 2011 edition of the carnival procession parade in Carnaval International de Victoria, the destination management company of Seychelles, Mason's Travel, with their “carnival fun” dancers dressed up in bright blue colors, braved the stifling heat of the Seychelles and won the first prize of 15,000 rupees in the local float category.

Mason's Travel had come ever stronger at the 2012 carnival in Seychelles with a moving float highlighting the theme of the sea and the celebration of Mason's Travel 40 years in the tourism industry.

The moving float that showed vibrant colors and entertaining dancing, unanimously gained the judges’ highest marks, and for a second consecutive year, ranked first in the local carnival float category. The young and talented dancers’ white and blue costumes were a combination of Mason’s Travel’s corporate primary colors.

Decorating their costumes with pearls and a fusion of red colors, Mason's Travel was meticulous in ensuring that its costumes and moving float were creative, colorful, and original. Mason's Travel won the first cash price of 25,000 rupees.
The JJ Spirit Foundation consolidated its second position by winning the cash prize of 15,000 rupees. Portraying the foundation’s logo colors of yellow and red, the dancers, dressed up in vibrant costumes depicting a blossom flower, lit up the streets of Victoria with their elegant choreography. According to the JJ Spirit Foundation, “the most challenging part is to consolidate during the upcoming carnivals.”

The Hunt Deltel Company, the island’s shipping agent company worked hard for this second edition of the carnival parade bringing the ''Moulin Rouge'' theme to the heart of Victoria. Describing its float as '' showcasing a number of colored lights, decorations, and beautiful colored fun costumes,'' the Hunt Deltel team put on a spectacular show in the parade and won the third cash price of 10,000 rupees. In 2011, Indian Ocean Tuna Limited won the third cash price in the local float category. In total, there were 29 local floats participating alongside the international floats in the 2nd edition of the carnival.
