Mr. St..Ange left Seychelles accompanied by Sharen Venus, the Seychelles Tourism Board's Senior Marketing Executive responsible for the German market, and Christine Vel, a marketing executive being groomed for overseas posting. They will be joined in Frankfurt by Edith Hunzinger, the Seychelles Tourism Board's German Office manager responsible for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The working trip in Germany is to keep developing new approaches with some of the partners of the Seychelles, to better sell the islands, and to dialogue with these key partners in Frankfurt, Hanover, Munich, and Herrsching on feedback on the Seychelles. The Seychelles delegation is scheduled to meet with Condor Airlines at their Frankfurt head office, with the Manager in Germany for Emirates, the Germany-based marketing department of Qatar Airways, the Leisure Sales Manager of Air France in Germany, and the Manager for Germany for Etihad Airlines.

“We have been planning this trip to increase the visibitity of our islands and to help stimulate interest in selling Seychelles. It remains our duty to not only disseminate information about the islands, but it is also our duty to get continuous feedback on holidays spent in Seychelles," said Alain St. Ange, “This trip will do both and more, because we are out to see how to assist our tour operators on the question of air access, as the direct run by Condor has for the last year [been] loaded with very high passenger numbers.
