American Airlines celebrates new nonstop service to Budapest with a trip-for-two prize drawing to five-star Corinthia Hotel
The Corinthia Hotel Budapest, also known affectionately by its historic name, the “Grand Hotel Royal," is a city landmark. The hotel’s neo-classical façade, adorned with statues, columns, and cupolas, has graced Budapest's fashionable thoroughfare, Erzsébet Avenue, for well over a century. The hotel is owned by Malta-based International Hotel Investments (IHI) and operated by CHI Hotels&Resorts. It was reopened in 2002, having been faithfully restored to its former glory as Budapest’s leading luxury hotel, featuring a magnificent ballroom and the most extensive conference facilities in the city. With its lavish lobby, superb accommodation, a renovated 19th century spa, and various fine-dining options, it once more takes center stage, not only in this elegant imperial yet thoroughly modern city, but also among hotels throughout Europe. Since its re-opening, Corinthia Hotel Budapest has received numerous awards and accolades for its architecture, cuisine, and world-class service. In 2010, Corinthia Hotel Budapest was voted as one of the top 25 hotels in Europe by TripAdvisor users, the only hotel in Hungary to make the list.
