Seychelles launches 8th edition of its Escapades Seychelles road show in France ( Seychelles will again be promoting itself all over France for a full week, from June 6-16, 2011 in what they call their annual “Escapade Seychelles." The Seychelles Tourism Board, headed by Bernadette Willemin, the Board’s Director of Tourism for Europe, will travel across France for a series of inter-professional meetings.

Elza Frichot, the Tourism Board’s Head Office-based Senior Marketing Executive responsible for Europe, will accompany the private sector partners seeking to consolidate their presence on the French market.

Laurent Quemeneur, Françoise Cristina, Frédéric Rousseau will join the Tourism Board from Air Seychelles and Air France, and joining in from the hotels will be Wadia from Banyan Tree Seychelles of Mahe, Jhoan Payet and Laetitia Martin from Constance Lemuria Resort of Praslin and Constance Ephelia Resort of Mahe, Ash Behari from the Coco de Mer&Black Parrot of Praslin, Isabelle Turon-Lagau from L’Archipel Hotel of Praslin, Guillaume Albert from Le Domaine de l’Orangeraie of La Digue, Isabelle Le Strat from Hilton Northolme Resort&Spa of Mahe&Hilton Labriz Silhouette Resort&Spa, Véronique Ibrard and Frédérique Pasqual from Sainte Anne Resort&Spa, Ravinia Larue from Denis Island Seychelles and the Indian Ocean Lodge of Praslin, and Amanda Lang from Desroches Island Resort. They will all also be joined by Laëtitia Duchet and Jennifer Dupuy from the Seychelles Tourism Office of Paris.

The “Escapades Seychelles" road show will stop in Lille, Lyon, Toulouse, Paris, Ajaccio, Bastia, and Montpelier for gala or workshop dinners.

In each town, a presentation of each hotel product followed by a 3D film will allow the travel agents to explore the magical archipelago. At the closure of each evening, a draw will take place hence allowing them to win the chance to visit the Seychelles islands.

The Seychelles Tourism Board is thankful to the hotels and organizations joining them on this dedicated Seychelles Road Show across France as they help keep the islands visible right across the French market. It must be noted that France remains the biggest tourism market for Seychelles.
