A new author makes his mark from his Seychelles home

A new author makes his mark from his Seychelles home ( At the last Paris Book Show, a new novel was launched by its author, Jean-Marc Lessiau. It is under this pen name that Jean-Marc Perrin, who resides in the middle of a Marine Park on Cerf Island in the Seychelles for the last seven years, published his first book, “L’Oeuvre ou le Pouvoir de l’Ombre."

Three other famous authors resided on islands in the same Marine Park Islands in the Seychelles. Wilbur Smith, William Travis, and Brendon Grimshaw were also all at one time or another residents of the same Marine Park in the Seychelles, and were also inspired by the same island setting to write. This time it is the turn of Jean-Marc Perrin from France who has put pen to paper to bring out another interesting work from the middle of the Indian Ocean.

The latest work coming from the Seychelles is a novel based on politics and police work that originates in Paris and ends up at Cerf Island in the Seychelles. It is an amazing novel that puts into play a French conspiracy that sees a step-by-step approach to derail a democratic approach by a group of senior civil servants. The novel takes those who had discovered the conspiracy to find asylum in the Seychelles. Adventure, love, and humor makes this latest book written on the perfect beaches of the Seychelles an interesting read.
