Candidates are announced for Seychelles presidential elections in May this year

(Forimmediaterelease.net) The people of Seychelles now know the list of candidates for the island's presidential elections to be held on May 21. President James Michel with Vice President Danny Faure will be candidates representing Parti Le Pep (LP); leader of the opposition Wavel Ramkalawan has teamed up with Nicholas Prea, the elected member for North Mahe's Bel Ombre Constituency to represent the Seychelles National Party (SNP); Ralph Volcere, the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP) has announced his intention to contest the elections alongside independent candidates Philippe Boule, the known Victoria-based Lawyer, and Marston St.Ange, the tourism operator and shop owner of La Digue island have both also announced their intentions to be candidates in the 21st May 21 presidential elections. This makes for a five-way fight for the presidential elections.
