Hilton Worldwide expands with second hotel in Seychelles (Forimmediaterelease.net) The Hilton Hotels has expanded with a second brand property in the Seychelles - Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort and Spa. This follows the signing of a management agreement with Silhouette Island Resort Limited to introduce the new 111-villa resort to the Hilton portfolio, joining the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort&Spa.

“The resort and leisure segment of our global portfolio continues to grow with the signing of a second Hilton brand property in Seychelles. Hilton provides premium experiences for travelers in key leisure markets around the world,” said Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels&Resorts brand, at the signing.
The new Hilton hotel is located on Silhouette – the third largest island in the Seychelles – and will soon undergo an upgrade process to convert the hotel to the Hilton Hotels and Resorts brand.

Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort&Spa offers guests five outstanding dining areas with various international cuisines. Relaxation options and leisure facilities include a fitness center, spa, tennis court, swimming pool, and water sports center featuring scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing.

“We are delighted to have signed this management agreement with Hilton Worldwide, the leaders in hospitality, that will help us manage the demand and meet traveler’s high expectations for this new conversion,” said Mohamed Umar Maniku, Chairman, Silhouette Island Resort Limited.

Hilton Worldwide has 44 hotels across 14 countries in the Middle East&Africa.
The Seychelles Tourism Board has reacted positively with this news saying that it is a clear sign of the new found confidence in the tourism industry of the Seychelles. Alain St.Ange, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, said that the Hilton Hotel operation in the Seychelles has been a succesful one, and he welcomed their takeover of the Labriz Resort&Spa. “We are sure that the Hilton Group will bring their new Silhouette Island Property the standards and professionalism of Hilton and that they will make of this unique island the success it deserves" Alain St.Ange said.
