Dalberto, the world renowned French pianist, to perform in Seychelles

Dalberto, the world renowned French pianist, to perform in Seychelles ( The famous French pianist, Michel Dalberto, will be in Seychelles for a classical musical show that will be held on Tuesday, November 23 at the National Institute of Education (NIE) Auditorium at Mont Fleuri on the island of Mahe.

Considered as one of France’s most prominent and talented pianists, Mr. Dalberto has won two prestigious international competitions – the Clara Haskil Prize 1975 and the Leeds International Piano Competition 1978.

He has played in some of the most leading concert halls of Europe with numerous distinguished conductors - to name a few, Sir Colins Davis, Rudolf Barshai, Charles Dutoit, and Wolfgang Sawallisch.

Mr. Dalberto has appeared in major festivals around the world, including Aix-en-Provence, Aldeburgh, Edinburgh, Hong Kong, Lucerne, Grange de Meslay, Montreal, Montreux, and Yokohama.

In Seychelles, he will give only one performance, which is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 23. Tickets for the concert will cost Seychelles Rupees 300 per person.

The visit of Mr. Dalberto has been initiated and coordinated by the French Embassy in Seychelles and the Seychelles Tourism Board.
