Skål is a professional organization of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Its members, the industry's managers and executives, meet at local, national, regional, and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest.

President of Skål International Toronto North, Frank Vismeg, along with several other clubs, received special recognition for increasing membership over 10 percent during his 2010 presidency. The presentation was made by newly-elected president of Skål International, Tony Boyle.

The delegates were entertained during the President's Gala Dinner by a very special guest, Ana Rucner, a famous cello player who was raised in a family of reputable classical musicians. Her mother, Snježana, is a solo cellist with the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, and her father Dragan is a solo violist with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. Her brother Mario also shares the family's talent and passion as a violist. In 1998, Snježana and Dragan formed the now world famous and reputable Rucner String Quartet.
