The President was given a guided tour of the various types of accommodation available, as well as the services that would be at the disposal of the residents by Minister for Land Use and Housing, Mr. Jacqueline Dugasse; Principal Secretary, Mr. Christian Lionnet; and the director general for Community Development, Mr. Dan Frichot; among other key individuals involved in the project.

While speaking to the press, President Michel said that the housing project was a realization of a vision to create more development land through the reclamation work that the government had embarked on, and to ultimately provide more housing options for the Seychellois people.
