LTU International Airlines expands its Network from North America to Europe

( Since May 3rd, LTU International Airlines offers five weekly non-stop flights
from Los Angeles to Dusseldorf, Germany. In addition LTU started a new
non-stop service between Las Vegas and Dusseldorf on Mondays and
Thurdays. Due to the new partnership between LTU and Germany’s second
largest Airline Air Berlin, North American Customers now have the opportunity
to travel directly to 18 different German and over 65 European airports
such as Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, London, Stockholm or Moscow.

On approval of the antitrust agency, LTU and Air Berlin will form the fourth largest Airline on European routes and will carry more than 25 million passengers per year world wide.

Besides Los Angeles and Las Vegas, LTU International Airlines offers daily flights from New York’s JFK, five weekly flights each from Miami and Fort Myers as well as four flights from Vancouver and three flights per week from Toronto to Germany and Europe. LTU’s modern Airbus Fleet is equipped with both a Business and an Economy Class on all Intercontinental flights.

From Germany, LTU flies non-stop to Thailand, Sri Lanka, Kenia, South Africa,
Mexico, the Caribbean and the Maldives.

“Against the background of our new partnership with Air Berlin, we will expand
LTU’s Intercontinental route network significantly within the next years”, stated Juergen Marbach, LTU’s chief executive officer at a media reception in Los Angeles today.
