Tourism Minister Lahcen Haddad intervenes in the debate on co-development relationships Africa-Morocco-France organized by Think Tank Africa-France (Forimmediaterelease.net) Tourism Minister Lahcen Haddad will participate in a debate on co-development relationships Africa-Morocco-France organized by Think Tank Africa-France in Paris on June 23, 2016 under the theme “Africa-Morocco-France: a relationship of co- development.”

The debate will focus on the place of Morocco and France as economic partners of Africa and will provide an opportunity to deepen reflection on the concept of co-development as a pragmatic strategy dictated by economic requirements, commercial and safe.

The intervention of Mr. Haddad at the Think Tank will focus on the privileged position of the Morocco-France partnership in this approach to co-development; advanced foreign economic policy of the country in South-South cooperation, and the strategic choice and economic and social development factor which takes into account the real needs and specificities of the different partners and ensures respect for the cultural identity of each nation. Mr. Haddad will also highlight the challenges of triangular cooperation as an effective model of North-South cooperation to a distribution of wealth between the North and the South.

The place of tourism in these exchanges will also be presented by Mr. Haddad, given the importance of the tourism industry which is positioned as a lever for economic development in many countries of the African continent in view of its contributions to GDP, the inflow of foreign currency, job creation, the fight against poverty, and the reconciliation of peoples and civilizations.

This Think Tank ( www.africafrance.org ) works to strengthen relations between the enterprises of France and the entire African continent on a partnership basis for sustainable and inclusive growth. The association is co-chaired by Lionel Zinsou, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Benin, and Stéphane Richard, CEO of Orange; his office is composed of Amadou Kane, former Minister of Finance of Senegal, and Jacqueline Mugo, President of Kenya's Business Federation.
