Constance Hotels and Resorts: A BRIGHT future for Seychelles

Constance Hotels and Resorts: A BRIGHT future for Seychelles (Forimmediaterelease.net) A very special graduation ceremony took place at Constance Ephelia Seychelles on February 10. Twenty-five young men and women graduated from the BRIGHT training program, prepared by Constance Academy and organized in all the resorts of the group. Eight of them graduated from BRIGHT 2, aimed at team members in middle management, while the remainder were taking part in BRIGHT 1, the program targeting supervisors.

Alain St.Ange, Minister for Tourism and Culture; Flavien Joubert, Seychelles Tourism Academy Principal; Anne Lafortune, Principal Secretary for Tourism Seychelles; Vincent de Marassé Enouf, Group Human Resource Manager for Constance Hotels and Resorts; as well as Claude Narain, General Manager of Constance Academy and Patron of the STA, were all present at the graduation ceremony. Constance Lemuria Seychelles will hold their BRIGHT graduation ceremony on February 12.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister St.Ange congratulated all the graduates on their success. He also saluted Constance Hotels and Resorts for investing in their team members. “I am proud today to see so many Seychellois team members among the graduates. They are flying high the colors of Constance, but they also represent Seychelles and the region. We at the ministry have great hopes about the tourism industry in Seychelles. Yet, without the help of private sector stakeholders such as Constance Hotels and Resorts, achieving these dreams will prove difficult. Training is fundamental if we want to continue improving on the quality of our tourism industry. When you open the door to training, as Constance Hotels and Resorts does, you show seriousness of intent and a commitment to the betterment of the destination and the Seychellois people,” said the Minister.

Kai Hoffmeister, General Manager of Constance Ephelia Seychelles, expressed his appreciation of the dedication shown by the students. He urged them to continue their development and share their knowledge with their fellow team members. Following the ceremony, the guests, including the graduates and their parents, were invited to celebrate the evening with a cocktail prepared for this occasion by Chef Benjamin Painset at the Cyann Restaurant.

The BRIGHT (Bridging the Gap Through Holistic Training) program is an initiative launched in 2010 by Constance Hotels and Resorts. The aim is to equip its supervisors, managers, and executives with the necessary attitude, knowledge, skills, and tools to be confident in their roles and in so doing, contribute to the advancement of the industry.
