Start of a new era for Caribbean Airlines ( PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – “This upgrade signals the start of a new era for Caribbean Airlines. These improvements to our system will positively affect our customers travel experience,” said George Reeleder, Caribbean Airlines Vice President Commercial&Customer Service, commenting on the airline’s recent improvements to its reservations and ticketing system.

Caribbean Airlines announced the upgrade to Amadeus on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. The project’s first phase was completed on Tuesday with the upgrade of the online reservation and ticketing system. The second phase, which extends to the airline’s airport check-in services, will be completed by March 2016.

Amadeus’ next-generation technology enables Caribbean Airlines to deliver its vision for an improved customer centric travel experience to better serve its customers.

Caribbean Airlines operates more than 600 weekly flights to 19 destinations in the Caribbean, North and South America and the United Kingdom until Jan 10th 2016. The airline’s fleet is comprised of Boeing 737-800, Boeing 767-300ER until Jan 10th, 2016 and ATR72-600 aircraft. Headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago, and with an operational base in Jamaica, Caribbean Airlines employs more than 1600 people. The airline is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and is recognized as an IATA Operational Safety Audit qualified airline.
