Trinidad Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Association (THRTA) announces the appointment of new CEO ( PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad - Former Chairman of the Tourism Development Company Ltd. (TDC), Brian Frontin has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Association (THRTA), effective November 1, 2015.

According to a statement issued by the THRTA, “Frontin has solid experience working in senior roles in corporate banking and government affairs, including twelve years at local and international banks as well as past Chairmanships of State Boards including the Tourism Development Company (TDC) and Evolving TecKnologies & Enterprise Development Company Limited (e TecK)."

The statement continued, “In these latter roles, Frontin oversaw the management of key hotel assets and was also instrumental in the formulation and implementation of national tourism incentive programs including the Tobago Tourism Development Fund and the Government Loan Guarantee Program."

The THRTA is confident that Frontin’s strategic leadership capacity, outstanding interpersonal, management, and communication skills along with his entrepreneurial spirit and high energy will strengthen the Association and augur well in the fulfilment of the THRTA’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.

Frontin also served on the Board of the Caribbean Tourism Organization during his tenure as Chairman of the TDC.
