Air Malta renovates its popular website ( Air Malta has refreshed the front-page of its popular website to a new modernized state-of-the-art shopping window. The site is now easier to navigate and offers additional functionality and services to customers presenting the best personalized real-time deals depending on the customer's location.

With its new minimalistic design, the homepage is now focused on completing bookings in an easier manner and presents customers with the best fares on offer. The redesigned site is intended to enhance the user’s experience making it faster and easier to access information by offering users a more structured approach to browse content and access the core functions within the website. The site aims to increase personalization for all users through the use of cookies which remember critical user choices.

Commenting on this launch, Ursula Silling, Air Malta's Chief Commercial Officer said, “We are very excited to re-launch our website. The aim of this project was to offer a simplified yet more efficient platform to enhance customer experience and make travel with Air Malta easier and more convenient."

“Our website is like our flagship store where clients can browse to find our best offers and the widest selection of travel opportunities. The new site follows an extensive review of the online purchase process with a view to make it simpler and faster. We aimed to have a clearer navigation menu and personalization of the user experience by featuring content targeted at specific users," added Ms. Silling.

“These are only the first steps. We are working on further web improvements. Our new re-design makes mobile and web check-in easier and further enhancements in this regard will be made in the coming weeks," said Ms. Silling. attracts over 6 million visits every year and the airline is confident that with the new changes the number of visitors will continue to increase.

The site is available in seven languages (Maltese, English, German, Italian, French, Russian and Dutch) while the settings change based on the user's browser language preferences.
