Viceroy Bali - Where the real Bali begins

Viceroy Bali - Where the real Bali begins ( Bali is the most beautiful holiday island in Asia. But where exactly, does the real, the authentic Bali begin? About 30 kilometers north of Denpasar, to be more specific in Ubud, also known as the cultural center of Bali. So how about travelling into the jungle and get to know the traditional Bali, than “just" traveling straight to the Indian Ocean? Those who want to spend those days as luxurious as it can get, feel like on cloud nine at the five-star-paradise Viceroy Bali!

Ubud does not only offer impressive palaces and temples, of which there are a lot by the way, but also little cafés, restaurants and galleries. Typical Balinese dancing shows, like the Kecak Dance are a highlight when visiting Bali and also the popular Monkey Forest should be visited with a proper portion of respect in the bag.

After only five minutes by car from central Ubud, past green soaked rice terraces on one and the jungle on the other side, visitors arrive at Viceroy Bali. The boutique hotel counts 25 villas, which are built on a slope with views over the tropical rainforest. Viceroy Bali is a precious place for honeymooners, because each villa offers its own private pool, a lot of space and open rooms. Viceroy Bali is already awarded as the “Best Honeymoon Boutique Hotel in the World" and therefore the resort arranged a romantic package for lovers. Two nights in a Pool Villa start at 1,042 Euros including breakfast. A two-hour´s couple spa treatment, a five-course-candlelight-dinner and a honeymoon cake are also sweet parts of the arrangement. So, it is the perfect combination for romantic culture fans!

CasCades Restaurant at Viceroy Bali is acclaimed as one of the island´s top dining venues. Some say this award-winning fine dining restaurant has even earned a deserved place as one of the finest restaurants in South East Asia, serving contemporary French menus with a respectable dash of exotic and spice. At the beginning of September, the CasCades Restaurant awaits a very special guest: Chef Nick Bril, one of the greatest talents of his generation. Nick Bril was already the right hand man to Sergio Herman and they now co-own the one Michelin star restaurant “The Jane" in Antwerp. From September 4th until 7th, 2015 Nick Bril will be exclusively visiting CasCades Restaurant at the Viceroy Bali to serve up some spectacular intimate lunches and dinners for no more than twelve persons per event.
