Mauritius and Seychelles ministers catch up again after many years since they were work colleagues on Denis Island in Seychelles (Forimmediaterelease.net) The last Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands meeting that took place at the Westin Resort at Balaclava in Mauritius under the Chairmanship of Xavier Luc Duval, the Deputy Prime Minister of Mauritius, brought together Alain Wong Yen Cheong, Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Reforms of Mauritius, and Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture.

The reunion was one that sent the two ministers reminiscing about the years when they worked together with Alain Wong Yen Cheong as the Resident Manager of the Denis Island Resort when Alain St.Ange was General Manager of the resort's group of hotels.

“My souvenirs of my years on Denis Island are great ones, and I cherish the memories of this period on the island," said Minister Alain Wong Yen Cheong.

On his part, Alain St.Ange said that catching up with Alain Wong Yen Cheong after so many years was a nice surprise especially with both of them having moved from the private sector and becoming government ministers of respective islands. “We worked well together, and both of us have fond memories of our years managing this unique private island resort," said Alain St.Ange.
