The new film “Hanneli and Anne” picks up where the “Diary of Anne Frank” left off, and people from all over the world are responding to this crowd funding campaign.
Salt Lake City, Utah – Hannah Pick-Goslar was a childhood friend of Anne Frank, and was shocked when she discovered Anne in the same concentration camp she was in, but on the other side of a dividing fence. Anyone caught at the fence was shot on sight, but somehow the two managed to meet and talk without getting caught.

“Hanneli and Anne” is about to be filmed, and early crowdfunding backers can receive the first available copies of the finished film for their support, along with other incentives at

This is a story about the loyalty of friends, faith, determination, and courage in the face of the devastation and horrors of life in a Nazi concentration camp where thousands died horrible deaths. The film “Hanneli and Anne” tells the true story of what happened to Anne and others in the Bergen Belsen camp.

Hannah Pick-Goslar knew Anne Frank and spent time with her just before her death in the concentration camp, only weeks before it was liberated. Best friends since kindergarten, they were reunited at a barbed wire fence. Now the world can know her heroic story.

The diary ends abruptly, when Anne Frank and her family are betrayed and found hiding in the attic. But little is known about what happened to Anne and her family after they were discovered and arrested. This short docu-drama, reveals a moment in history, between two friends, who risk their lives to meet one last time.

A short video about the plans for the production made by the filmmakers, can be viewed at this link, along with videos from some of the young actresses who will appear in the film.

“This is Hanneli's story of courage and loyalty, which shows that in spite of everything, we can keep our humanity and love towards others,” said the writer, director, and producer Sally Meyer.
