Veteran Officer Honors Fallen Cops around the world One Motorcycle at a Time
The bike will be all black with a thin blue line that will run the entire motorcycle. This line will incorporate names of the officers who have died in the line of duty. This is to honor those who have fallen while on duty protecting the citizens of America. The names on the blue lines will be updated annually. It will be a fully functioning bike that could be used to display through the country at various motorcycle festivals and at police agencies for celebration and events such as “Cops and Kids Day.”
Wetzel is very passionate about motorcycles and his job as a police officer. He is excited to join the two things he loves doing together to create the “Thin Blue Line” bike. He hopes this will draw public attention and give thanks to those who work hard to protect the community. This will also bring awareness and educate people on police and citizen interaction to show that officers need the community just as much the citizens need police officers. He hopes this will bring everyone together and break the barrier between the people and those employed to protect them.
