“La Tuna” musical group of Spain says they appreciated their appearance in carnival in Seychelles (Forimmediaterelease.net) Iñaki Fernández and the La Tuna musical group of Spain thanked the Seychelles for the welcome they received when they participated for the first time in the island's carnival. The “La Tuna” musical group, who were in Seychelles for the 2015 edition of the Carnaval International de Victoria at the end of April, called on Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, in the presence of Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture, to say thank you.

The Minister was presented with a miniature tambourine mounted with miniatures of the band players. Minister St.Ange told the “La Tuna” band that Seychelles as a whole appreciated the songs they performed and thanked them for making time to be in Seychelles for the island's carnival.

“Spain remains a tourism target for Seychelles, and it is hoped that through your presence at the carnival we shall see an increased visibility of our islands in Spain. Become our Ambassadors now and speak to your press to spread the name Seychelles in Spain," Minister St.Ange said.
