Reunion Island Tourism exhibits at Paris show (Forimmediaterelease.net) When the 111th Paris Trade Fair opens its doors this morning, Reunion Island will again occupy a prominent spot to charm more visitors to this French Indian Ocean island.

Reunion Island Tourism (IRT) is exhibiting alongside a number of private sector partners to showcase all the island’s attractions to their core market.

Located in the Pavilion Terres des Tropiques, Reunion Island invites visitors to the Paris Fair to discover its gastronomic specialties, crafts, products from the local culture, and of course its tourism offerings. During twelve days, Reunion Island will be highly visible in Pavilion 3 of the C012 space.

Reunion Island makes you travel to its different worlds

Visitors to the stand will find handicrafts and information about the gastronomy and culture of Reunion Island alongside 50 countries and regions which came to present the richness of heritage tourism in French overseas regions. The visit will allow for a true journey to the world's cultures dedicated to tourism, where visitors will take home the taste for more.

Reunion Island: A paradise at the Paris Fair

In this hall, visitors to the stand will discover a wide range of typical products from Reunion Island. They will also have the opportunity to meet and discuss their questions with artisans and stakeholders from the island who came for the occasion to present and share their expertise. Crafts, local cuisine, and exotic and cultural products of Reunion Island will be honored through the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Reunion Island with turmeric products from La Maison du Curcuma; syrups from Cold and Innovation Nature of herbal teas, authentic products (jam, chili, syrup, honey, pickle) La Corbeille of Reunion Island; through the Chamber of Crafts with art tortoiseshell craftsman Nicol Payet of Tabou, sweets (jam, pickle, confit, creamy, caramel) of Les Saveurs de la Fournaise; Les Bijoux d 'Hermana made from the island with seeds and weaving; through the Chamber of Agriculture with vanilla derivatives of the Cooperative Agricultural Pro-Vanilla; edible oils and massage oils from the Agricultural Cooperative of Essential Oils of Bourbon (CAHEB); and vanilla 100% by Louis LEICHNIG. No one will leave empty handed!

The Paris Fair will also showcase some of Reunion Island’s hotels which will be represented by Gîtes de France, the first European network hosting homestay; Le Saint Alexis Hotel & Spa, a four-star hotel located opposite Boucan Canot one of the most beautiful beaches of the island; the hotel group Exsel Authentic Hotel which offers several options for staying on the island ranging from three-star, hotel eco-lodges via bungalows; and Side Sun Hotels, the hotel chain which includes the Tropic Apart'Hotel institutions Archipelago, the Hotel Creoles, and Tama Hotel which are all located on the west coast of the island and ranked three stars.

Many performances will be given by the folk group Volnay who will open the show on April 29. This is the perfect opportunity to experience the festive spirit of the island and to try the rhythm of Sega and Maloya. Reunion Island will also participate in the cooking workshop, “Square of Heads & World Cuisine," organized on May 7 and 8 which will allow visitors to taste the subtleties and flavors of the great variety of typical foods from the island.
