King of Cambodia meets with ministers attending tourism & culture meeting in Siem Reap province

King of Cambodia meets with ministers attending tourism & culture meeting in Siem Reap province (Forimmediaterelease.net) His Majesty Preah Bat Sambech Preath Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, personally joined in the togetherness in Cambodia by coming out on February 4 to greet the tourism and culture ministers who were in Cambodia for the first ever UNWTO and UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture.

His Majesty the King of Cambodia, who personally hosted the welcome dinner and cultural performance at Elephant Terrace in the Siem Reap province, took time to personally greet Taleb Rifai, the Secretary General of the UNWTO, and Alfredo Perez de Arminan, the Assistant Director General for Culture at UNESCO, and all dignitaries and ministers who had flown to Cambodia for the first ever tourism and culture meeting.

Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, who was one who had the honor of meeting personally with His Majesty the King of Cambodia (see photo) said to the press covering that strategic event that Cambodia was succeeding in being relevant as a tourism destination because the country as a whole was united behind their tourism industry. “From His Majesty the King to the Prime Minister, Vice Prime Minister, and Minister, all joined the visiting tourism and culture delegates and their very own tourism and culture associations and bodies to say to the world we are one. Their own internal challenges did not try to overshadow their national and patriotic sense of responsibility. They all united for the cause of Cambodia and made their country proud," said the Seychelles Minister.
