Seychelles features in leading Chinese magazine

Seychelles features in leading Chinese magazine ( Phillippe Le Gall is the first resident ambassador of Seychelles in China. His writing is what sets him apart from other diplomats, and his feature article written in both English and Chinese in “Deep,” China’s leading discovery magazine, comes as no surprise.

The photos attached to his article are picture postcard perfect and showcase the beauty of the islands scattered in clear blue seas, the giant coco de mer trunks growing against the waterfall backdrop of the Vallée de Mai, and the isolated beaches nestled between lush vegetation and rugged, granite rocks.

Ambassador Le Gall discovered the Seychelles shores as a marine officer at the ripe age of 22, and 14 years later he boldly decided to pack his books and move to the islands.

He portrays Seychelles as a pristine destination with a melting pot of cultures that has something to offer every individual.

For married couples on their honeymoon, here he promises that Seychelles will create an everlasting bond between them. For the craftsmen and artists looking for inspiration, Seychelles would be their willing muse. In his article he promotes the warm Seychellois hospitality as being equally as intriguing and mysterious as its natural beauty. To those few who have the privilege to experience this safe, hidden paradise, he guarantees that it would not be an experience to regret but rather would inspire them to come back time and time again, because it is simply as irresistible as the flavor of a favorite ice cream.

This impressive feature article comes at an opportune time when the Seychelles tourism sector is working hard to attract Chinese tourists to its little paradise. This is not Ambassador Le Gall’s first publication promoting Seychelles, as earlier this year he also launched “Together Forever in Seychelles,” a book featuring two short stories.
