Reunion Island to host 5th edition of Total Dance Festival ( The fifth edition of Total Dance Festival offers “abundant, exuberant, multicultural" programming, developed by Pascal Montrouge and Bernard Faille, respectively Director and Deputy Director of the two country theaters, Champ Fleuri and Plein Air. From November 7-23, Total Dance is putting on a show around Reunion Island, for a journey to the heart of contemporary dance, circus, theater, and photography.

For this fifth edition, the dancers invest BTTO Champ Fleuri, the BTTO Outdoor and Canter theater with the program, choreography, theater, circus, not to mention the visual arts. This eclectic program is explained in the person of Pascal Montrouge. For him, “the programming [Total Dance] cannot be other than the image of the island. That is to say multiple." From November 7-23, 2014, Total Dance will offer the public nearly fifty performances - local, national and international.

Reunion Island Tourism (IRT) is a partner of the event through the support of a national media: the weekly Inrocks (Les Inrockuptibles), attached to the news and culture magazine, and also entering the dance at the festival.

For two weeks, viewers will enjoy performances between the visual arts and theater of Givran Nicolas and Myriam Omar Awadi, the physical and moving documentary by Alain Platel dance, by the humor of the baroque theater devised by Sophie Perez and Xavier Boussiron, choreography by Kaori Ito suspended by the cut-shifted engaged Robyn Orlin and James Carles, and by the state dance troupe Cristian Duarte.

Total Dance Festival is an event full of rich artistic performances on stage that should once again bring together amateurs and neophytes of contemporary dance scene… and then, we dance!
