Hotel PR Association stages charitable activity, painting and conservation visit to Sea Turtles Centre at Sattahip
Association members and members of the press were joined by executives from Beger Co. Ltd., which contributed paint products valued more than Baht 100,000 for this project.
The group was welcomed by Rear Admiral Luechai Ruddit, commander of the Air and Coastal Defense Command, and Captain Araya Singhasamanon, director of the Sea Turtles Conservation Centre, Royal Thai Navy.
This activity was organized as part of the Hotel PR Association's social responsibilities program and was aimed at encouraging the public to help conserve the marine environment. Nearly 100 association and media members joined the trip, where they helped to paint the exterior of the Conservation Centre, and released baby turtles into the Gulf of Thailand.
The group had lunch together by the sea at the Navy Club, and shared in the fun and happiness of giving back to the environment.
Supporting charity and organizing activities for a good cause are amongst the association’s objectives, along with promoting good relationships between hospitality industry public relations personnel and the media.
Kanokros, who is the newly-elected president of the association, together with her new committee, organized this trip as their first activity for members. Earth Saisawang, a former president also joined the activity.
The Sea Turtles Conservation Centre is in the area of Air and Coastal Defend Command, Royal Thai Navy in Sattahip, only a two-hour drive from Bangkok.
