One of India's most prominent personalities of the corporate world welcomes Seychelles Minister St.Ange and his delegation to her home in Delhi to discuss cooperation in unique products for the island's tourism industry (Forimmediaterelease.net) Tourism development goes further than just building of hotels and resorts, especially when the authorities of the islands are today saying that the best hotel brands are already well established in Seychelles or are already committed to enter these islands that depend on tourism for their economy.

When Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, was on an official working visit to India last week, a meeting was organized for him and his delegation to the home of Shenaz Hussain, one of the most prominent personalities of the corporate world. Minister Alain St.Ange was accompanied to Mrs. Hussain’s by HE Waven William, the Seychelles Ambassador to India; Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board; Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture; Patsy Moustache the Second Secretary at the Seychelles High Commission in India; and Marco Francis, the Chairman of the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

Mrs. Shenaz Hussain is known in the world of beauty products as the personality who has been continuously striving hard to slow down the ageing process and nourish the skin of people and thus make them look younger than their age. She is today regarded as the ruler of the beauty world.

The Shenaz brand of products are today sold at Bloomingdale’s in New York, Harrods and Selfridges in London, Seibu in Japan, Galleries Lafayette in Paris, and La Rinaeccente in Milan, among others. She is reputed to have launched more than 400 different products, and her products remain skin friendly and give a beautiful glowing look.

Minister Alain St.Ange discussed having a Seychelles brand in the Shenaz Collection based on a fruit or plant found in Seychelles. After discussions, Shenaz Hussain has accepted to send two of her scientists to Seychelles to meet with the team at the Department of Culture Research Section and to explore possibilities to develop a product with Seychelles and named after Seychelles.

Mrs. Shenaz Hussain is also expected to visit Seychelles in the coming months to see the islands for herself.

Minister Alain St.Ange said after his meeting with Mrs. Shenaz Hussain that he appreciated her desire to work with them for the benefit of the Seychelles people, the islands, and to position the country's name in the forefront. “We have unique products, and we need to ensure we process such products here to get value added to what we have been blessed with. This will also see our own people employed and benefit directly from our unique nature. This is what we proposed to Mrs. Shenaz Hussain, and this is what she has accepted to entertain as she looks at what we have that could be of interest to the world of beauty products," Minister St.Ange said.
