Star Block Workout: Reunion Island vs South Africa ( Terroll “Boost" Lewis, star of the small South African screen, is to challenge Reunion Island personalities from the world of sports, music, and the media. Three episodes of Star Block Workout will be filmed on the island for the occasion.

Posted on Trace Sport Stars, first television devoted exclusively to sports celebrities, Star Block Workout puts competing personalities through a series of exercises imposed by Terroll “Boost" Lewis, a former gangster converted sports teacher.

This season will see Reunion Island facing South Africa. Daniel Sangouma, Olympic bronze medalist at the Seoul Olympics in 1988, and Honorary Ambassador for Reunion Island Lucie Ignace, World Champion Karate, Florent Kaouchi, France champion and Vice-champion of the World Muay Thai, Emmanuelle Fumonde Champion World Kata, the singer Rolian, Marie Payet, Miss Reunion 2011 will participate in this sporting event. They will face South African personalities invited by Reunion Island Tourism (IRT): Joelle Kayembe, model and Trace ambassador; Eda Rose, former radio presenter; Tibz, manager and blogger, Ricky Rick, rapper; DJ Speedsta and Thithi Nteta, blogger.

Three episodes of 26 minutes each of original and exclusive of Star Block Workout will be produced on Reunion Island. Each episode will feature four guests - two South Africans face two Reunionese. From this Wednesday, June 18, 2014, the skate park Champ Fleuri (Saint-Denis) hosts all these celebrities, and the general public is also invited to come and sweat with Boost!

Through this partnership, the IRT which multiplies its communication in South Africa for the month of April 2013, will be a more assertive presence in this market in the future for Reunion Island tourism. To recap, following the Ministerial Decree of February 7, 2013, it is now no longer necessary for South African nationals wishing to travel to Reunion island to obtain a short-stay visa - a device that has the direct consequence of an increase of 33% of South African visitors to the destination. Star Block Workout, which offers tremendous visibility to the meeting destination on the South African market, is part of the strategy to promote Reunion Island and the diversification of the tourist clientele established by the IRT.
