Seychelles Paradise tanker in salvage operation

Seychelles Paradise tanker in salvage operation ( MT Seychelles Paradise has been contracted to support a salvage operation of a grounded vessel in Diego Suarez, North of Madagascar. The vessel left Port Victoria on the afternoon of April 20 and arrived in Madagascar yesterday, on April 23 in the afternoon. She berthed at Diego Suarez port and went through various port state control and the salvage company inspections successfully. The operation will include removing fuel from the grounded tanker.

MT Seychelles Paradise has performed several operations outside Seychelles, including supply of fuel to an oil rig inside the port limits of Mauritius in December 2013. The vessel also assisted Comoros with fuel cargo in 2013, at a time when their supplies were short, and it also supplied an oil rig in Port Louis.

Seychelles Paradise usually operates to ensure supply of products on Praslin, as well as to support offshore bunkering operations, but recently she has shown versatility and capacity for out of the ordinary operations within the whole of the Indian Ocean, given that such services are not always readily available in this region.
