Seychelles Tourism Board pre-launches exciting new Seychelles coffee table dive book, Seychelles: Unexpected Treasures

Seychelles Tourism Board pre-launches exciting new Seychelles coffee table dive book, Seychelles: Unexpected Treasures (Forimmediaterelease.net) On Wednesday, April 9, 2014, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board Sherin Naiken and Chief Copywriter and Tourism Consultant Glynn Burridge will travel to Singapore to attend the popular Asian Dive Expo where they will provide attendees with a taste of the Tourism Board`s newest addition to its suite of coffee table books: a collection of underwater photographs with the title “Seychelles: Unexpected Treasures,” which is already being hailed as one of the best coffee table dive books of its kind.

The 120-page coffee table book contains stunning imagery by Nikon Professional Photographer Imran Ahmed who spent a considerable amount of time in Seychelles capturing the photographs, traveling even to Aldabra where many of his shots were taken.

World-renowned photographer Ahmed was assisted in this project by the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, Minister Alain St.Ange, and by the Seychelles` Tourism Board`s Chief Copywriter, Glynn Burridge, as co-publishers of the book. Minister St.Ange and Glynn Burridge have previously collaborated on a number of books including the “Coco de Mer” and “Seychelles` State House: Centenary of Inauguration” ably supported by the Tourism Board`s production team.

The pre-launch of the book will take place on Friday, April 11, at the Seychelles stand at the Asian Dive Expo, a popular international event Seychelles attends to showcase the beauty of its underwater world. The official launch of “Seychelles: Unexpected Treasures” will take place during the forthcoming 4th edition of the Carnaval International de Victoria which is expected to take Victoria by storm between April 25-27, 2014.

“`Seychelles: Unexpected Treasures` opens the window on the still relatively little known world of diving in Seychelles and the extraordinary diversity it offers on both coral and granitic reefs. Seychelles remains very much a world untouched, and our pristine ocean is a sanctuary for many exotic marine species, several of which have found their way into the pages of this new book,” commented Sherin Naiken.
